Lime rotary kiln is a new type of special rotary kiln for active lime developed on the basis of absorbing and learning from the same type of rotary kiln at home and abroad, aiming at the calcining characteristics of limestone. This type of rotary kiln (a vertical preheater and a vertical cooler can be selected to form an energy-saving rotary kiln calcination system) has the advantages of high raw material utilization rate, complete calcination, uniform quality, good quality, large production capacity, high operation rate, energy saving and environmental protection. , easy operation and long life of the whole machine.
The uses of lime are very extensive. Common in construction, building materials, metallurgy, chemical industry, light industry, environmental protection, medicine and agriculture and many other fields. Especially in steelmaking, ironmaking, sintering, copper, aluminum smelting and other industries, lime has played a very important role as a slag-forming agent, a dissolving agent or a sintering material. As the main processing equipment for processing lime, lime kiln has very high industrial utilization value, so its current demand is very high.
The working process of lime rotary kiln is:
The treated limestone is stored in the silo and lifted to the silo at the top of the preheater by the elevator.
There are two level gauges on the top of the preheater to control the feeding amount, and then the limestone is evenly distributed into each room of the preheater through the feeding pipe.
The limestone is heated to about 900°C by 1150°C kiln flue gas in the preheater, and about 30% decomposes. It is pushed into the lime rotary kiln by the hydraulic push rod, and the limestone is sintered and decomposed into CaO and CO2 in the rotary kiln. The limestone generated after decomposition enters the cooler, and is cooled to below 100°C by the blown cold air in the cooler. After heat exchange, the 600°C hot air enters the rotary kiln and mixes with the gas for combustion. After the exhaust gas is mixed with cold air, it enters the bag filter through the induced draft fan, and then enters the chimney through the exhaust fan.
The lime from the cooler is sent to the lime product warehouse through vibrating feeder, chain bucket conveyor, bucket elevator and belt conveyor. The screening and other processes is determined according to customer requirements.
(1) The lime rotary kiln has a simple structure, and the vertical preheater with low pressure loss can effectively improve the preheating effect. The decomposition rate of preheated limestone into the kiln can reach 20-25%, and 10-15mm fine-grained limestone can be directly used.
(2) Both ends of the lime kiln are sealed with combined scales. This form of sealing makes the air leakage coefficient less than 10%. Use composite refractories to reduce radiant heat loss.
(3) The lime kiln uses a filled circular or square vertical cooler with partition ventilation, which makes the temperature of the lime out of the cooler to be 800C+ ambient temperature, which is convenient for transportation and storage, and can preheat the secondary air entering the kiln to above 7000C ° , reducing the consumption of moving parts and special materials.
(4) Using lime rotary kiln, if the quality of raw materials is high, the quality of lime produced is better, the calorific value of fuel is higher, and the quantity consumption is less.
(5) The particle size of limestone is proportional to calcination time; the activity of quicklime is inversely proportional to calcination time and calcination temperature.
