Magnetic separator is suitable for wet magnetic separation of magnetite, pyrrhotite, roasted ore, ilmenite and other materials, and also used for iron removal of coal, non-metallic ores, building materials and other materials. The magnetic system of the magnetic separator is made of high-quality ferrite material or compounded with rare-earth magnetic steel. The average magnetic induction intensity of the cylinder surface is 100-600mT. According to the needs of users, we can provide magnetic separation with different surface strengths such as downstream, semi-countercurrent, and countercurrent types. This product has the advantages of simple structure, large processing capacity, convenient operation and easy maintenance.
Magnetic separator can be divided into dry magnetic separator and wet magnetic separator. Dry magnetic separator is designed for those material with 2 to 200 millimeters such as iron ore whose state is dry or nearly dry. Wet magnetic separator is suitable for the ores whose size is less than around 6 - 8 millimeters suspended in water. Both of wet and dry magnetic separator can effectively process various minerals.
The magnetic separator is mainly suitable for the following purposes:
1. It is used for rough separation of lean iron ore after coarse crushing or medium crushing, removing waste rock such as surrounding rock, improving the grade and reducing the load of the next process.
2. It is used to separate the raw ore that is not fully reduced in the closed-circuit roasting operation of hematite reduction, and return it for re-burning.
3. It is used in the ceramic industry to remove the iron mixed in the porcelain mud and improve the quality of the ceramic products.
4. It is used for iron removal operations in coal-fired mines, foundry sand, refractory materials and other industries.
1. The magnetic system adopts NdFeB magnets with high magnetic energy product and high coercivity. The magnetic field strength is high, and the demagnetization rate in 8 years does not exceed 5%.
2. The magnetic system is covered with non-magnetic stainless steel to ensure that the magnet does not fall off.
3. The cylinder body is made of non-magnetic stainless steel and covered with wear-resistant rubber, and the service life of the cylinder body is significantly improved.
4. The permanent magnet drum has strong adaptability to production and can withstand large fluctuations in ore feeding amount, ore feeding granularity and pulp concentration.
5. According to different uses and sorting conditions, each series of magnetic separators have different magnetic system designs and tank structures. Each series of magnetic separators can be used in combination, or one of the series can be used alone, all of which can obtain excellent beneficiation indicators.
After the ore slurry flows into the tank, under the action of the water flow of the ore-feeding water spray pipe, the ore particles enter the ore-feeding area of the tank in a loose state. Under the action of the magnetic field, the magnetic ore particles are magnetically aggregated to form "magnetic group" or "magnetic chains". These "magnetic group" or "magnetic chains" move toward the magnetic poles and are adsorbed on the cylinder. Since the polarities of the magnetic poles are alternately arranged along the rotation direction of the cylinder, and are fixed during operation, the "magnetic group" or "magnetic chain" rotates with the cylinder, and the magnetic poles alternate to produce a magnetic stirring phenomenon. The non-magnetic minerals such as gangue mixed in the "magnetic group" or "magnetic chain" fall off during the tumbling, and the "magnetic group" or "magnetic chain" that is finally attracted to the surface of the cylinder is the concentrate. The concentrate is transferred to the weak position of the magnetic force at the edge of the magnetic system with the cylinder, and is discharged into the concentrate tank under the action of the flushing water flow from the discharge pipe. Non-magnetic or weakly magnetic minerals are left in the slurry and discharged out of the tank with the slurry, that is tailings.
