Introduction

Magnesium metal rotary kiln is an industrial equipment for producing magnesium.

Magnesium metal rotary kiln refers to a rotary calcination kiln (commonly known as a rotary kiln), which belongs to the category of building materials equipment. Working Principle

The magnesium metal rotary kiln equipment is composed of rotary cylinder, supporting roller assembly, thrust roller supporting assembly, sealing device of kiln head and kiln tail, and coal injection pipe device. The kiln body has a certain inclination with the horizontal, the whole kiln body is supported by the supporting roller device, and there is a thrust roller supporting device to control the up and down movement of the kiln body. In addition to the main drive, the transmission part is also equipped with an auxiliary drive to ensure that the kiln body can still rotate at a slow speed when the main drive power supply is interrupted, and to prevent the kiln body from being deformed. The kiln head adopts a shell-type seal, and the kiln tail is equipped with an axial contact sealing device to ensure the reliability of the seal.

Process Description

After being crushed by crusher, the qualified dolomite materials(30-40mm) are sintered in a metal magnesium rotary kiln, calcined into calcined white, cooled by a cooler, and then entering into a ball mill to be ground into powder, and then pressed into balls by a ball press machine. After being crushed, it is mixed with ferro-silicon powder -(including 75% silicon) and fluorite powder (including GaF2=95%) to make a pellet, put into a heat-resistant stainless steel reduction tank, placed in a reduction furnace, the crude magnesium is obtained by reduction under the vacuum of 1.33Pa at 1200-1250 ℃, and the finished magnesium ingot is obtained through flux refining, ingot casting and surface treatment.

1. The calcination process of magnesium metal rotary kiln has a high degree of mechanization, the operation process is easy to control, and the production capacity is large, which can meet the production needs of metal magnesium production lines.

During the calcination process of the magnesium metal rotary kiln, since the material is in a tumbling state, the heating is uniform, the temperature of the combustion device is easy to control, and the calcination quality is good. The activity of metal magnesium products can reach 350-400ml, and the pollution is small, which is beneficial to obtain high-purity metal magnesium.
